Entertainment News: Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death has shaken the entire Bollywood industry. However, the actor was last seen on the big screen in the film ‘Chhichhore’, which was released last year. His last film will be Dil Bechara with Sanjana Sanghi. The film is a remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and is the first film directed by Mukesh Chhabra. The film was scheduled to be released in the month of May this year. But this release date was postponed due to the Corona virus lockdown. According to recent reports, if Sushant Singh Rajput had not committed suicide, he would have been seen romancing girlfriend Riya Chakraborty.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, writer-director Rumi Jaffrey has revealed that, ‘Both the stars were selected for the rock-com film and were to start shooting for the project in May. Sushant was going to get a full chance to show dancing skills in the film Untitled Rock-Com. Seeing that Sushant was a fan of Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Govinda, the director had also planned Sushant’s dance on the Muhurta of the film. The filmmaker has also confessed that he can never make a film for Sushant. He said, ‘I can never do this, it was written keeping Sushant in mind’.
Rumi Jaffrey said, ‘Sushant did not have many friends in the film industry. But he was always passionate about his work. Sushant was also having his script during the lockdown. He was very keen on joint narration. Sushant was upset due to not being able to work between the lockdowns. Sushant wanted to rehearse the film at the earliest.
