The art and antique dealer Fabian Kahl (28) shows his luxurious home in Ranis, Thuringia. The 28-year-old, who became famous for Rare’s fame through the junk show, lived in the property until 2011 and has since traveled to Leipzig. Now he has returned to the castle, which he has now extensively renovated and rebuilt. His show mate Julian Schmitz-Avila (33) he presents Schloss Brandenstein via video call, which his fans can also see on the net!
By doing YouTube-Video is immediately clear how luxurious the house is, but there is a lot to do: “It’s not just how you imagine it, pure luxury, but also work, long distances, everything has to be heated with fire ovens – and if three families live here, there is of course always a bit of chaos”, describes Fabian his domicile. Then he shows a half-timbered tower room with a beautiful view that will later serve as a guest room. A former theater hall is also to be converted into an XXL bedroom.
Furthermore, there is an apartment in the property, which becomes a real glamor place to stay: Due to the 3.80-meter-high ceilings, stucco and portal doors, it should appear sometime in the style of the neo-Renaissance. But Fabian not only left the house with his move to Leipzig, but also many memorabilia. When he discovers a fossil on the tour, he enthuses: “It’s great when you come back here and discover a few pieces from your childhood and then remember what it was like back then.”
