Bollywood News: The Bollywood film industry has lost crores of rupees due to the corona virus lockdown. Trade pundits are guessing that the industry has lost around Rs 1,000 crore in the midst of a 2-month lockdown, including the release of films and the losses incurred by the films being shot. The filmmakers do not want to increase this deficit further, due to which they have taken permission from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra to start shooting. After the support from the Maharashtra government, it is believed that all the stalled production will start soon.
Speaking to The Times of India, General Secretary of Federation of Western India Cine Employees, Ashok Dubey, has told that after the lockdown is over, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ of Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will start first. According to Ashok Dubey, ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali was shooting even before lockdown. His film set is still in Film City. In such a situation, it can be expected that the shoot of his film will start first. Apart from this, Boney Kapoor ji was also shooting in the film Mud Island, whose set has been covered. The film will also start after the lockdown.
