Sabrina Mockenhaupt (39) gives her fans an honest insight into the birth of their first child. A few days ago, the former Let’s Dance participant happily announced: Little daughter Ruby was born healthy – the followers were also able to look forward to the first snapshots of their little hands and feet. But how did Mocki experience the birth process? The brunette now reveals that – and makes it clear that the arrival of the new earthling went differently than hoped!
Because the long-distance runner could not give birth to her child naturally after hours of exertion. In a statement Instagram she reports on the overwhelming emotions when thinking about the birth: “Tears of happiness that on May 27th, 2020 at 03:25 am we were finally able to keep our little miracle alive and well in our arms. […] But also tears of disappointment that I could not give her a normal birth and that we had to choose a Caesarean section 25 hours after the bladder jump and eternal time in labor. “ The girl’s head was too crooked in the pelvis – operative delivery was essential. “At some point it was about Ruby and not about our desired birth,” summarizes the new mom.
In the end, all that mattered for Mocki was being able to hold her darling in her arms. “I am totally happy and grateful that I can experience all of this”, she enthuses about Insta. The 39-year-old is looking forward to finding a new rhythm of life with her cute mouse in the coming weeks.
