Mourning for Julitta Münch! The moderator gained a lot of publicity especially through her job at the “ARD-Morgenmagazin” in the 1990s. She was the first to present the format. Together with her colleague Jürgen Drensek, she was regularly in front of the camera until 1994. Later she also worked as a radio and TV reporter. Now the media world has to say goodbye to it: Julitta died at the age of 60.
In a press release, the broadcaster announced WDR announced that the journalist died in Lohmar last Thursday. “Julitta Münch’s early death makes us very sad at WDR”said the director of the broadcasting company Tom Buhrow. The radio was her passion. “She was an accomplished journalist and an excellent moderator,” added the 61-year-old. Nothing is known about the exact circumstances of her death.
Julitta studied politics, economics and sociology and psychology. In 1989 she completed a journalistic traineeship at her home station WDR. Until 2010, she hosted the radio show “Hallo-Ü-Wagen” on WDR5.
