The ‘Information and Broadcasting Ministry’ is now preparing to take drastic measures on this crisis that has come on the TV industry.
According to a Times of India report, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a notice against TV show makers and producers. In this notice, the makers and producers have been ordered to pay the dues of the show’s team. After the issue of this notice, TV show makers and producers will have to pay the salary for the work done till 20 March 2020.
This notice of ‘Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’ states that, ‘Show Makers and Producers will have to give salary to their team as soon as possible or action will be taken against them. Many industries are suffering due to Corona virus lockdown, but workers in every sector should get equal rights.
Corona virus has exposed the TV industry reality to everyone. In these circumstances, the stars working in the TV world and members of the show’s team have even started thinking about suicide. Recently there were reports that the producers of the serial ‘Humari Bahu Silk’ refused to give salary to the entire team in lockdown. After which the team and crew members had threatened to commit suicide some time back. Only after this news came out, the ‘Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’ issued these notices against the producers.
