What an impressive property! Due to the current situation, Prince Charles (71) and his Camilla (72) are also isolated. They spend this together in their residence “Birkhall” on the Balmoral estate. In the past few weeks, the fans of the royal couple have been getting insights into what it looks like at home: The large front garden and the noble entrance are impressive every time!
In a video to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of St. Valery-en-Caux on the TwitterChannel “Clarence House” was published, the heir to the throne stood in front of his stylishly designed domicile. The front door in mint green caught the eye because it stood out from the cream-colored facade. Under the small canopy, which stands on four wooden beams and is painted in a light blue, there are also two chairs, on which he and his wife are sure to enjoy their afternoon five o’clock tea. Most of all, the Duke of Cornwall loves the huge garden, which he likes to take care of when the time permits: “It is such a special place, especially since it was created by my grandmother. It is the garden of my childhood and all I did is to make it a little more beautiful”, he revealed to the Country life-Magazine.
The Landschlösschen has been owned by the prince since 2002 after he inherited it from his grandmother Queen Mum. Charles’ grandmother himself described it as a “little big house”. This was built in 1715 and then by 1852 prince Albert acquired. Since then it has belonged to the British royal family.
