Yesterday was undoubtedly the evening of Christina Luft (30) and Christian Polanc (42)! Together they won the big professional challenge at Let’s Dance with a passionate Paso Doble – and thus inherit last year’s winners Ekaterina Leonova (33) and Massimo Sinató (39). Shortly after their triumph, the two dancers were highly emotional: With tears in their eyes, the duo thanked the audience, whose calls alone decided their victory!
“I’m speechless! Thank you for making us the winners of this year’s professional challenge! I can’t believe it!”, the 30-year-old said in an interview RTL. Christian finally emphasized how well the two fit together in the professional freestyle, which consisted of a mixture of Paso, Flamenco, Samba, Salsa, Tango Argentino and Rumba: “We have never danced together, maybe ten seconds at a time an opening. Now we rehearsed for four days and it felt great right away. It’s nice that the audience also got home. “
Now the two can look forward to a special prize in the upcoming “Let’s Dance” season: They can choose their prominent dance partner personally. Massimo demonstrated that this can be a great advantage – he chose Lili Paul-Roncalli (22) on this year’s introductory show and ultimately led her to victory in the relay.
