This death shook the music world this week: Yesterday it became known that the singer Werner Böhm (78), who had become famous under the stage name Gottlieb Wendehals, died – he was 78 years old. He died in Gran Canaria shortly before his birthday on June 5th. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined. But now an acquaintance from Böhm told how the deceased was found.
Across from RTL a good friend of the ex-jungle camp said Werner was looked after on the Spanish island by his good friend Helga, who also saw him the day before his death: “Helga said goodbye with the greeting: ‘Tomorrow we will be back, tomorrow the masseur will come, then you will be fine better.’ He had some back problems, “he said. Then he was dead on Tuesday. “You found him on his cell phone”the acquaintance added. Werner had fallen asleep peacefully.
Werner Böhm had his breakthrough in the role of Gottlieb Wendehals in the 80s. His party hit evergreen “Polonäse Blankenese” came in first place in 1981. In 2004 he participated in the first season of the jungle camp.
