Bollywood News: So far, the entire Bollywood industry has lost more than one thousand crore rupees due to Corona virus lockdown. Not only this, due to the shooting stops, the makers of films have to be demolished. Recently, there were reports that the makers have taken the plunge to demolish the plush set of Akshay Kumar’s film Prithviraj. After this, the makers of Ajay Devgn’s sports drama film Maidan (Maidaan) have also taken the plunge to destroy the set made for it.
Till a few days ago there were reports that the makers would soon resume shooting for the film. A football ground spread over 16 acres was built for Ajay Devgan’s sports drama, but due to the corona lockdown, its shooting stopped and the producers suffered losses day by day.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, there are two reasons for destroying the set of this film. The first is that the cost of maintaining the film’s set is very high. Depending on the size it may cost between Rs 5 and 50 crore to maintain the set. Another reason is that the monsoon is about to start in Mumbai soon and due to heavy rains, the film’s set may be affected.

The film ‘Maidan’ is yet to be shot for about 30 days. At the moment, due to the havoc of the corona virus, it is also not possible to shoot the film at an international location. According to sources associated with the film, ‘It is not so easy to go out of Mumbai because this film is being made with many actors and a big team. Including all, there is a team of about 500 people and it is very difficult to take out so many people. We will stand the set again around September-October. We are currently planning to resume shooting in November.
